How we got started:
In early July of 2022, two business owners and a professional engineer had lunch together and decided to partner in a start-up company that services customer needs in the residential construction field. The new company would incorporate architectural, structural and construction into the designs and assessments. The new company would focus on the customers insight and understand their perspective of how they envisioned their project. On July 25, 2022, PE&D was introduced to the greater Philadelphia area.
Shaun Fishburn
Partner – Architectural / Structural Engineer
Coming from a family with strong work ethics, Shaun has been mentored by some of the best professionals in their fields. He worked at Consulting Engineering Services as a surveyor under Margaret Kulik, PLS, while attending night classes at Drexel University. Upon graduation in 2006, Shaun was promoted to the structural department and was mentored by Lee Adams, PE, where he learned the value of doing hand calculations to understand the variables that go into structural design. In addition to working under Mr. Adams, Shaun assisted with site design projects under William Gilmore, PE. In October of 2007, it was time to find new employment due to the economic concerns at the time. Shaun went to Silvi Materials where he was mentored by Bharat Dhandhukia, concrete specialist. For almost ten years, Shaun was the quality control guy for Silvi, hand-in-hand with Mr. Dhandhukia, developing his knowledge of construction materials (specializing in concrete) and the construction process. It was an extremely hard decision in 2017, when Shaun left Silvi for Daniels Consulting Engineers, to pursue his passion in residential design. At Daniels, Shaun worked under Russel E. Daniels, PE, expanding his knowledge in residential structural design and assessments. In 2022, Shaun prepared a business proposal and strategic marketing plan for PE&D. Perspective Engineering & Design was discussed and agreed upon between two business partners and Shaun.
Jordyn Kleindl
Architectural Designer
Jordyn received a Bachelor’s of Science-Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She has worked on a multitude of professional and personal architectural projects. She started out her career working at a firm in Milwaukee, WI that specialized in commercial design and build. From there she moved to a smaller firm that specialized in custom, luxury residential design and build. With aspirations to grow her career and develop her skills further, Jordyn joined the team at Perspective Engineering & Design, LLC as an architectural designer. At PE&D Jordyn is taking her passion for architecture and design to create beautifully crafted drawings and renderings for her clients.
